Terms of service

Welcome to Good Dog Print Co.! By placing an order with us, you agree to the following Terms of Service. We keep things transparent so you always know what to expect — straight talk, smooth process, and top-quality custom work. 🐾

1. Custom Work

All orders produced by Good Dog Print Co. are custom-made. Design proofs, mockups, and print/embroidery details must be approved by the customer prior to production.
Once approval is given, no changes can be made, and production will begin based on the approved design.

2. All Sales Are Final

Because each order is created specifically for you, all sales are final.
No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be offered on customized products.

If Good Dog Print Co. makes a material error that does not match the approved proof (for example: wrong design, wrong quantity, or placement significantly outside normal tolerance), we will work with you to correct it through a remake, reprint, or store credit at our discretion.

Machine Ready Files

Vector and Digitized Files – Ownership Retained; No File Delivery by Default

Digitizing fees cover the creation and use of machine-ready files for production through Good Dog Print Co.; file delivery and ownership are not included unless a separate buyout/release agreement is purchased in writing.

All digitized embroidery files, stitch programs, working files, source files, edits, revisions, and derivatives created by Good Dog Print Co LLC in connection with an order (collectively, the “Vector and Digitized Files”) are and shall remain the sole property of Good Dog Print Co LLC.

No Automatic File Release

Vector and Digitized Files are created for production and quality control purposes and are not provided to customers as part of standard production services. No language in these Terms shall be interpreted as requiring Good Dog Print Co LLC to release or deliver files without a separate written agreement.
Digitizing buyout/source file release pricing is separate from production and is quoted and invoiced independently.

File Release / Buyout (When Purchased)

If Customer purchases a “Digitizing Buyout” or “Source File Release” in writing and payment clears in full, Good Dog Print Co LLC will deliver only the file type(s) specifically listed in that agreement (for example, DST/PES/EXP and/or editable/source files). Any file release is limited to the scope of the buyout/release agreement.

No Transfer of Rights

Except as expressly stated in a separate written Digitizing Buyout or Source File Release agreement, no ownership, copyright, or other intellectual property rights in the Vector and Digitized Files are transferred to Customer. Any rights not expressly granted are reserved by Good Dog Print Co LLC.

Source Files Not Included

Editable/source files (including native software files and working files) are not included in any order unless specifically listed as a deliverable and paid for as a “Digitizing Buyout” or “Source File Release.”

Payment Condition / Chargebacks

Any file release and any rights granted under a Digitizing Buyout or Source File Release agreement are effective only after payment clears and are void if payment is reversed, charged back, or disputed.

Delivered Format (If Released Under Buyout)

If a file release is purchased, Good Dog Print Co LLC may deliver production formats (e.g., DST/PES/EXP) and/or other formats only as specified in the buyout/release agreement. Delivery of any file does not change ownership unless the buyout/release agreement expressly states otherwise.

Third-Party Production

Unless expressly permitted under a separate written buyout/release agreement, Customer may not sell, share, distribute, upload, post, sublicense, or otherwise make any Vector and Digitized Files available to any third party (including other decorators or digitizers).

Customer Materials Warranty

Customer represents and warrants it owns or has permission to use any logos/artwork provided to Good Dog Print Co LLC, and Customer will defend and indemnify Good Dog Print Co LLC from claims arising from Customer-provided materials.

3. Customer-Provided Apparel

If you supply your own garments or items:

  • You acknowledge that printing/embroidery involves heat, pressure, needles, and handling, and customer-supplied items are produced at the customer’s risk.

  • Good Dog Print Co. is not responsible for defects in customer-supplied items (including fabric quality, dye issues, seams, prior wear, or manufacturing flaws) or for damage that may occur during production.

  • Customer-supplied items are not eligible for refund or replacement. If we choose to offer a courtesy remake or compensation, it is at the sole discretion of the owner/head printer.

  • If a courtesy remake is approved, replacement garments will be matched as closely as possible, and the maximum value of any compensation will not exceed $15 per shirt.

4. Production Times

Production timelines vary based on order size, customization level, and current workload.
Estimated completion times are provided as a courtesy — not a guarantee.

Rush orders may be available upon request and may include a fee.

5. Payment

Payment must be made in full before production begins unless otherwise discussed and approved by the owner.
Unpaid invoices result in delayed production and pickup.

6. Order Pickup

Once your order is finished, you will be notified and scheduled for pickup.

If the customer requests contactless/outside pickup or asks that an order be left outside, Good Dog Print Co. is not responsible for theft, weather damage, or any issues caused by delayed pickup.

Customers are encouraged to pick up orders promptly to ensure items remain in perfect condition.

If you can’t make your scheduled pickup time, please contact us immediately:

7. Artwork & Design Ownership

  • Customers represent and warrant they own or have permission to use any artwork, logos, or designs provided to Good Dog Print Co.

  • Good Dog Print Co. does not independently verify ownership or licensing. However, we may refuse or pause any order that appears to infringe on third-party rights, is clearly copyrighted/trademarked without permission, or is otherwise questionable.

  • Templates, layouts, production setups, and internal production files created by Good Dog Print Co. remain the property of Good Dog Print Co. and may not be shared or distributed without written permission.

8. Quality & Variations

We work hard to keep consistency across all prints and embroidery. However, slight variations in color, placement, or sizing may occur due to garment differences, thread variations, and print methods.

Such variations are considered normal for custom production and are not grounds for remakes, refunds, or exchanges.

9. Refusal of Service

Good Dog Print Co. reserves the right to refuse orders that include:

  • Inappropriate or offensive content

  • Copyrighted material without permission

  • Designs that violate our brand values

  • Items deemed unsafe or unsuitable for printing

10. Agreement

By placing an order with Good Dog Print Co., you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
